Airports of Thailand expands its successful partnership with Atos and ISO

The Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) is a leading airport business operator in Thailand. With its vision of “AOT Operates the World’s Smartest Airport” and intense competition from airports such as Changi Airport (Singapore) and KLIA 1/2 (Malaysia), AOT is modernizing the technology its airports use.

AOT has been working with its suppliers Atos and ISO continuously for decades – from the initial ERP system implemented at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, the application maintenance of the system and all along the way. To support its agenda, AOT chose to roll out SAP S/4HANA, as the world-leading ERP software, to all of its six airports.

As the airport businesses also generate revenue from non-aviation sources such as duty-free sales and property rentals, further solutions need to be added, including BPC, BO, OpenText, BPM, Web Portal, GRC, Mobile Apps, as well as ISO’s SKYport Billing for SAP for terminal/ bay and passenger tariff billing.

In 2017, Atos competed with 19 other SAP system integrators in the largest deal in Thailand, and winning solidly against the competition for these reasons:

  • Exclusive partnership with ISO for its renowned airport-specific solutionSKYport Billing for SAP
  • Leveraging the industry- and customer-specific experience
  • A thorough understanding of AOT business priorities, business transformation objectives and decision-making criteria
  • Strong collaboration between Sales and Delivery team
