Hurtigruten decides on ISO CRM Emerald for the whole group

The Norwegian cruise tour operator Hurtigruten has rolled out the touristic CRM system Emerald of ISO Travel Solutions for the whole company group. Totally, about 250 users, distributed among all locations, work with the CRM system of the tourism IT specialist from Nuremberg, Germany.

Decisive for choosing the CRM solution of the German tourism IT specialist were the specific adjustments of Emerald to the tourism business processes and the satisfaction of the Emerald users of the Hurtigruten GmbH subsidiary in Hamburg, who have successfully been using Emerald since 2003.

An optimal basis for future and innovative extensions was established with the new version of the ISO-solution . Currently, 250 users are working with Emerald as Customer Relationship Management Systems among all locations of Hurtigruten in Norway, Germany, France, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the USA.

„Due to the tourism know-how of ISO , not only in CRM, but also in handling the necessary tourism processes, our requirements for the new CRM system could be met to our complete satisfaction. With Emerald we are able to entirely concentrate on our customers and are supported within this challenge in an optimal way.” explains Ulf Schröder, Competence Team Leader Global ICT organization at Hurtigruten ASA.
